- Asaske S Added April 02, 2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★One has to really drive up to this place and have a meal. We went for lunch simply because we read that they were using local produce. Chef Simon made and cooked up the best meal you can ever have. So much dedication, effort, and as my friend puts it, "love", has been put into the creation and production of what was served to us. Ben explained every single detail of the dish we were being served. Lots of pleasant surprises in the food.
It's a hidden and rare gem. Eat what Simon cooks up before he becomes very very famous and charge a fortune. ???? - Lisa Bastian Added January 27, 2018★ ★ ★ ★ ★Amazing food in a relaxed setting. Local produce used in a tasting menu that changes daily depending on the produce available.
Great knowing where the food is sourced from and what goes into creating the dishes. Look forward to going back and trying some new creations. Fantastic cosy atmosphere. Worth the day trip, next time I might make a weekend of it and stay in the attached cottages.
